The Adult Learning Center at Waimanalo Library has served over 30 adults since its opening last year. The computer assisted center was established and funded this past first year through a federal library grant, and will continue this spring and summer in collaboration with the Windward School for Adults. The center is supported by the Friends of Waimanalo Library and trained volunteer tutors and computer monitors.

Adults may work on reading, writing, spelling and basic math to brush up on skills, prepare for a high school diploma, or work on job skills, such as typing and computer awareness.
